Each Recycled Energy facility will be built according to a masterplan which incorporates modular components that are scalable to the needs of the individual site. Facilities will begin producing energy and carbon black as soon as construction is complete.

Modular Design
A modular design approach will allow REC facilities to increase capacity to accommodate population centers of different sizes.

The basic MSW conversion facility will be designed to handle waste from modest size population centers of 150,000 or more people within a 50 mile radius. Additional processing lines can be added to serve larger population centers. A standard Tire Recycling Center™ will process 100 tons of scrap tires per day.
